These terms of use (“Terms of Use”) govern access to and use of the website https://www.informadb.pt/ operated by INFORMA D&B (Serviços de Gestão de Empresas) Sociedade Unipessoal, Lda., on the internet, as well as any pages associated therewith (collectively, the “INFORMA D&B Site”). Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using the INFORMA D&B Site. By accessing the INFORMA D&B Site, you state your agreement to these Terms of Use and undertake to comply with them. If you do not agree with these Terms of Use, you should not use the INFORMA D&B Site.
For the purposes of the INFORMA D&B Site, the acronym “D&B” means The Dun & Bradstreet Corporation, including (i) all subsidiaries and branches that are part of The Dun & Bradstreet Corporation group of companies, (ii) companies affiliated with that group, and (iii) the suppliers and service providers (including data sources processed by INFORMA D&B) of that group.
These Terms of Use are intended to provide information on the rules applicable to access to and use of the INFORMA D&B Site and are complementary (whenever the user has a contractual relationship with INFORMA D&B) to other documents governing the user’s relationship with INFORMA D&B, namely the General Terms and Conditions of Service (available here), the commercial proposals presented by INFORMA D&B and accepted by the user, and the Specific Terms and Conditions applicable to the contracted services. These Terms of Use are not intended to limit or prejudice any non-waivable rights the user may have under the laws of their jurisdiction.
INFORMA D&B does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data, information, and/or programs (“Information”) available on the INFORMA D&B Site. The Information is provided “as is” and “as available,” without guaratees of any kind, whether express or implied. Accordingly, INFORMA D&B does not guarantee, in particular, uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation of the INFORMA D&B Site, without prejudice to the periodic implementation and updating of reasonable measures, including security measures, by INFORMA D&B.
INFORMA D&B may modify the technical features for access to and use of the INFORMA D&B Site and may also temporarily or partially suspend operation of the INFORMA D&B Site, in particular due to technical changes, maintenance activities, or malfunctions, and will, where feasible, notify users of such events by notice on the INFORMA D&B Site.
The user undertakes, when using the INFORMA D&B Site, not to perform any operations that may cause errors or system failures that prevent or affect the operation of the INFORMA D&B Site. The user acknowledges and agrees that they bear full responsibility for their use of the INFORMA D&B Site and for the content of any materials they make available through it.
The user further acknowledges and agrees that they may not use the INFORMA D&B Site (i) for unlawful purposes (including, without limitation, to violate privacy or any other personal or property rights of third parties), (ii) in any manner that causes or may cause damage to INFORMA D&B, or (iii) to disseminate offensive or otherwise inappropriate content. INFORMA D&B reserves the right to review, edit, and/or remove any unlawful content or content that violates these Terms of Use, and to take appropriate measures in relation to unlawful uses or uses that violate these Terms of Use.
The INFORMA D&B Site includes an area exclusively for INFORMA D&B clients. Access to and use of this restricted client area requires the use of specific user identification and access credentials. The user acknowledges and agrees that their user ID and access credentials are personal and non-transferable and are intended for the user’s exclusive knowledge and use. The user must ensure the security and confidentiality of such credentials.
The user shall be liable for any damages, losses, or harm resulting from abusive or unauthorized use of such credentials. Any data or information queries carried out using the credentials assigned to the user shall be presumed to have been carried out by the user.
The user acknowledges and agrees that INFORMA D&B shall not be liable for delays, inability to use, interruptions, or failures in the operation of the INFORMA D&B Site, nor for any inaccuracies or incompleteness of the information included on the INFORMA D&B Site.
The user further acknowledges and agrees that INFORMA D&B shall not be liable for any damages resulting from improper operation of the INFORMA D&B Site caused by external technical means, including, in particular, any hardware components required for its proper operation. Additionally, the user acknowledges and agrees that INFORMA D&B shall not be liable for any internet network failures that are not attributable to INFORMA D&B.
The user acknowledges and agrees that they are solely responsible for the use (or non-use) of the INFORMA D&B Site and the information contained therein. Accordingly, INFORMA D&B shall not be liable for any damages or losses caused by the use (or non-use) of the INFORMA D&B Site or the information contained therein, except where such damages or losses result from INFORMA D&B’s failure to comply with obligations freely assumed by it under the documents governing the contractual relationship with the user, as further detailed in those contractual documents.
All content, images, designs, text, goods, services, and other materials included on the INFORMA D&B Site (collectively, the “Content”), except where expressly identified otherwise, are protected by exclusive intellectual property rights, including copyright and industrial property rights, owned by INFORMA D&B (or third parties). Unauthorized use, distribution, and/or any other form of exploitation of the Content of the INFORMA D&B Site may constitute an infringement of copyrights, trademarks, and/or other legal provisions relating to the intellectual property rights of INFORMA D&B (or third parties).
By way of example, the name INFORMA D&B, the INFORMA D&B logo, and the INFORMA D&B products referred to on the INFORMA D&B Site are trademarks, service marks, and/or registered marks that may be protected by copyright or other intellectual property rights of INFORMA D&B or its affiliated companies. Company names and other products mentioned on the INFORMA D&B Site may also be protected by intellectual property rights belonging to their respective owners.
The user acknowledges and agrees that it is expressly prohibited to copy, reproduce, modify, display, transmit, or disclose, by any means (including through robotics or any other automated means) or for any purpose, the Content of the INFORMA D&B Site, except to enable viewing of the pages on the user’s computer or to print copies of excerpts of such pages exclusively for the user’s personal use. Any commercial use of such Content is prohibited (unless such commercial use is permitted under the documents governing
Internal Use
INFORMA D&B’s commercial relationship with the user). The user must not use any Content of INFORMA D&B (or third parties) without the prior written consent of INFORMA D&B.
The INFORMA D&B Site may include hyperlinks to third-party websites. Such hyperlinks are provided solely for the user’s convenience, and their use is entirely at the user’s own risk. INFORMA D&B shall not be liable for hyperlinks to third-party websites or for the content thereof.
Third-party websites are not subject to these Terms of Use or to INFORMA D&B’s Privacy Policy. Users are therefore advised to review the terms and conditions of use and privacy policies of the relevant websites.
The creation of a hyperlink to the INFORMA D&B Site requires the prior written authorization of INFORMA D&B.
INFORMA D&B is committed to protecting users’ personal data and privacy and fully complies with the principles and rules relating to the protection of personal data, in particular those set forth in the General Data Protection Regulation and Law No. 58/2019 of August 8, in all personal data processing activities carried out in connection with the INFORMA D&B Site.
The user acknowledges and agrees that access to and use of the INFORMA D&B Site involve the processing of personal data (relating to the user and the device used) to ensure the proper operation of the INFORMA D&B Site and to improve the user experience, in particular with respect to the restricted client area. The user undertakes to fully comply with all legally established rules regarding the protection of personal data.

The user acknowledges and agrees that INFORMA D&B has the right to amend these Terms of Use at any time and without prior notice. The user undertakes to fully comply with the most recent version of these Terms of Use, which is always available at www.informadb.pt. The INFORMA D&B Site will include the version currently in force, together with the date of its last update.
These Terms of Use are governed by Portuguese law. Any matter or dispute relating to these Terms of Use shall be resolved by the Judicial Court of the District of Lisbon, with express waiver of any other jurisdiction.
